Work Halloween costume - cosmetics company HQ?

I want to dress up for Halloween at work, and I work at the corporate office of a company that makes make-up, shower gels, lotions, etc. Any ideas for something appropriate? I am a 5'4'; thin woman with short red hair.Work Halloween costume - cosmetics company HQ?

There are SOooooo many things you can do with your little ole' self!





(1) You can be the ';lady who needs HELP'; with herself.


There's the ratty bathrobe (thrift stores, etc.) Wig with really, really big curlers (soup cans), big furry slippers, nylons at your ankles and some (seriously bad makeup.(*more on this below)


(2) The ';anxious to please - give me a job -help I've fallen and I can't get up';Lady. This one has a polyester suit or dress that is ancient, out of style and old fashioned. (Thrift stores, etc.)Clunky shoes, baggy hose, old lady purse, hat, and gloves.Plus = really bad makeup.*


(3) ';If'; you want to go the ';glamour'; route....pick any of the famous people that are ';little like you are';, maybe someone you might resemble a little??? Then dress and make up like ';they do';. (Cindy Lauper is a small gal who has very changeable hair colors, styles of dress and pretty nice makeup - she doesn't go overboard on the face.)


Tease/mousse up you hair to be kinda ';wild';, bright lipstick and clothes... you get the idea. There's tons more - your choice who it'll be.


(4) The ';MaryKay'; type of gal ... business suit = total outfit stylish and monochromatic in color, brief case and lots of samples in your pockets to ';throw around';.With your hair color you could go really wild with the color choices.


*** Bad Makeup: There are several websites that give you the recipe for making your own ';makeup'; = face paint!. OR, you could just go with whatever you have in your makeup case. Just remember that MORE is MORE. The eyebrows over and above your own. Eyeliner that's gone amuck = looks like caterpillars escaped to your face. Clown cheeks = nice round red ones. Lips that are SO kissable they almost take over your face. (going over the lipline, big time). Don't forget the eye shadow. The worst color for you = should be the one you pick, (iridescent blue or green maybe ?), using a heavy hand. You can pretend you are a little kid getting into Mom's makeup and have a field day.
