Mary Kay is ok. I personally don't care for their makeup. Plus their selection is crummy. I think their eyes shadows esp are not worth the money. Almay is a good concealer brand, as is MAC (although mac is pricey) but its worth it. For eye shadow I dont care what anyone tells you URBAN DECAY is the best eye shadow brand out today and can be bought online or through sephora stores, thats a little pricey too but those shadows last years and the colors are what you see is what you get and that is impossible to come by! For example, before you place out your shipped products, the receiver gives you a copy [OUT of 3] invoices. The one copy you send back to your company. [Well w/the company I work for, it's a requirement--so assuming a lot of companies require this of their vendors].
The other copies go to the stores office.
My question IS: IS THE COMPANY GETTING PAID THROUGH THE INVOICE I SEND BACK TO THEM [as they said when they hired me? OR is it actually [and it seems for logical] THAT THEY ARE GETTING PAID through some office manager who has the other 2 invoices that they keep out of the 3????

Ok well I am about to go in like 2 hours but like a called and they don't have all the mac mascara there so does the mac zoom lash work cause I want plush lash but I don't think they have it(sad face) but like I am getting some mac eyeliner and eyeshadows too?? so name like they top 3 mascaras that keep eyelashes curled and long... btw I have really short eyelashes!!!Mac mascara at the cosmetic company store?

but I preferr DiorShow Blackout or Dior Iconic. They last a long time, and my eyeslashes are so stubborn and short. But I always curl my lashes with shiseido curler before I apply my mascara. Sometimes it's a good idea to combine mascaras.
So if I know I'm going out to a nice dinner or something and I want my lashes to be up all night. I might apply Iconic by Dior overtop Covergirl mascara to give it a little Oomph

I use CoverGirl AquaSmooth for foundation, L'Oreal Mineral's for powder, Bourjois for blush, Revlon for eyeliner, Bourjois for eyeshadow, and MANY different products for lips. I have quite a lip 'collection' going. I buy WAY to many lipsticks/glosses/etc. I tend to you Bourjois, Chanel, Dior, Sally Hansen, and Lancome most frequently though. I enjoy makeup - Sephora is my FAVORITE store to shop at. :)

My mum is naturally beautiful and has aged very well, but she is convinced that if she stops forking out for expensive anti-wrinkle formulas she's suddenly going to age 20 years! Eh? Companies do it, women fall for it, drives me insane :) xx

Whenever I hear of a new 'chemical that is (supposedly) absolutely wonderful for wrinkles or eyes all I can think is it is yet another chemical needlessly tested on animals so that a few more people buy a few more products off of the shelves... surely if this stuff really worked millions of people would be avoiding botox and cosmetic surgery instead of paying thousands to irreversibly alter their bodies.
The one that really makes me wonder is the cream (forget the name) that calls itself a 'filler' all I can think of is it is meant to work like polyfiller and plaster over the wrinkles? not sure how else it could work and can imagine nothing worse? I mean... does it set like a paster.. will it crack if you laugh? I would love someone to let me know whether or not it is really effective.
Honestly.. nothing beats a good diet and exercise regime... start young and make it a lifestyle...oh and keep out of the sun... that's the best way.. plus if you spend your life smiling the only wrinkles you get will be 'happy' ones that brighten your face.. it is a life of constant frowning that makes people look so down.

To me, MAC and Sephora is the same thing. I use Guerlain foundation and powder, as well as blush, Dior or Clinique mascaras, Chanel lipsticks, different companies for lipglosses, just whatever colour I like most, but I do think that the Clinique lip gloss from pure animal fat is the best, the shiniest and it stays on your lips for longest. Lip-liners - Clinique, eye liners - Estee Lauder, liquid eye-liners - Dior or Chanel. Eye-brow pencil - I so forget the company at the moment, sorry, there's a very specific one that deals just with this. It's very good.
Also, I heard Sheer Cover is a good foundation and another really good foundation is Luminess Air. It's an air-brushing kinda thing. Perfect for imperfect skin.
Oh and I almost forgot - eye-shadows! Well, with this you can honestly experiment with every good company that isn't a dollar store one, or some imported Asian ';goods';. My all-time favourite is Clinique, but MAC and Sephora, as well as Borjuois have good colour ranges that I really like. I love experimenting with colour.
While I'm at it - do not forget to get a make-up remover. If you have oily skin - get an alcohol-based one. If you have normal to dry, to sensitive skin - get an oil-based one. I got mine from Sephora, works like a charm.

They have the most wonderful, rich, blendable eyeshadows, their lip glosses are just about perfect and their range of foundation- not just colors, but types of coverage (to include really excellent body paints, btw) is unparalleled. Even their lash DUO adhesive is probably the best lash glue available- holds forEVER and even if you miss and get glue in your naturals, it washes out without taking your real lashes with it.
In my eyes, they really can do no wrong. But.
I like Urban Decay, Too Faced, Nars, and MakeupForEver quite a bit also- I just don't find them to be total packages the way MAC is...

i'm not sure if all CCOs sell brushes but mine does. i think all items are 30% off. eyeshadows are usually 10$ %26amp; paintpots 11.75$. i dont know how much pigments are because i never bought pigments from a CCO. also, they might enforce the ';3'; rule which means you cant buy more than 3 of each items type like 3 eyeshadows, 3 lipsticks, etc so if you're planning a HUGE haul, try and bring someone with you. Oh and they might limit you to 300$ but ive never had that problems since i never went over 300$. have fun!

There's a big office block somewhere where people get paid a wage for studying cuticles and no other firm but the one in the advert has got an award from this august institution. Companies do it, women fall for it, drives me insane :) xx

Whenever I hear of a new 'chemical that is (supposedly) absolutely wonderful for wrinkles or eyes all I can think is it is yet another chemical needlessly tested on animals so that a few more people buy a few more products off of the shelves... surely if this stuff really worked millions of people would be avoiding botox and cosmetic surgery instead of paying thousands to irreversibly alter their bodies.
The one that really makes me wonder is the cream (forget the name) that calls itself a 'filler' all I can think of is it is meant to work like polyfiller and plaster over the wrinkles? not sure how else it could work and can imagine nothing worse? I mean... does it set like a paster.. will it crack if you laugh? I would love someone to let me know whether or not it is really effective.
Honestly.. nothing beats a good diet and exercise regime... start young and make it a lifestyle...oh and keep out of the sun... that's the best way.. plus if you spend your life smiling the only wrinkles you get will be 'happy' ones that brighten your face.. it is a life of constant frowning that makes people look so down.

To me, MAC and Sephora is the same thing. I use Guerlain foundation and powder, as well as blush, Dior or Clinique mascaras, Chanel lipsticks, different companies for lipglosses, just whatever colour I like most, but I do think that the Clinique lip gloss from pure animal fat is the best, the shiniest and it stays on your lips for longest. Lip-liners - Clinique, eye liners - Estee Lauder, liquid eye-liners - Dior or Chanel. Eye-brow pencil - I so forget the company at the moment, sorry, there's a very specific one that deals just with this. It's very good.
Also, I heard Sheer Cover is a good foundation and another really good foundation is Luminess Air. It's an air-brushing kinda thing. Perfect for imperfect skin.
Oh and I almost forgot - eye-shadows! Well, with this you can honestly experiment with every good company that isn't a dollar store one, or some imported Asian ';goods';. My all-time favourite is Clinique, but MAC and Sephora, as well as Borjuois have good colour ranges that I really like. I love experimenting with colour.
While I'm at it - do not forget to get a make-up remover. If you have oily skin - get an alcohol-based one. If you have normal to dry, to sensitive skin - get an oil-based one. I got mine from Sephora, works like a charm.

Hands down, MAC. I'm not solely a MAC girl, but 9 times out of ten I find that even if I like products from another cosmetics company, I loooove the MAC version of it. They have the most wonderful, rich, blendable eyeshadows, their lip glosses are just about perfect and their range of foundation- not just colors, but types of coverage (to include really excellent body paints, btw) is unparalleled. Even their lash DUO adhesive is probably the best lash glue available- holds forEVER and even if you miss and get glue in your naturals, it washes out without taking your real lashes with it.
In my eyes, they really can do no wrong. But.
I like Urban Decay, Too Faced, Nars, and MakeupForEver quite a bit also- I just don't find them to be total packages the way MAC is...

Definitely chemistry or chemical engineering. I am an intern at a pharmaceutical company now. It really helps to get a doctorate in chemistry as well. For cosmetics, chemistry. You aren't making skin--you're making stuff to put on skin.

For cosmetics, chemistry. You aren't making skin--you're making stuff to put on skin.
For science research, either one or even ecology, physics or computer science. If geothermal power gets going, geology could be an up-and-comer.
Have you been to the cosmetic company store?
I have one around here and I am really hopeful that they got the MAC Hello Kitty line. Do you know if they carry it? Or no?
