Why dont cosmetic companies make darker foundations?

why dont alot of cosmetic companies make their foundations, especialy their tints in darker shades??? I dont understand that, its kid of suspect. Most of them stop at beige. Why don't they go darker ?Why dont cosmetic companies make darker foundations?

and I think its Covergirl that actually made a specific line for girls with a darker shade of skin, I forget what its called though
Uhh, that's not true. Go to Target and in the makeup section they've got tunz of darker shades.
